The hand and wrist are very complex parts of our anatomy allowing us to feel and touch things we come in contact with every day. When an injury to the hand occurs, we realize how important that hand is to function in our lives. The same goes for a debilitating condition that occurs over time and causes pain such as osteoarthritis. Patients lose the ability to perform simple tasks such as writing, opening a jar or buttoning their clothes. We understand how important your hands, wrists and elbows are for work, play and our everyday lives.

Some of the hand/wrist/elbow conditions we treat are:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Arthritis
  • Traumatic injuries
  • Trigger finger
  • Tennis elbow
  • Dupuytren’s Contracture

The shoulder is the most movable joint in the body and is made up of three joints, many muscles and ligaments. The shoulder must be mobile enough for the wide range actions of the arms and hands, but also stable enough to allow for actions such as lifting, pushing and pulling. The compromise between mobility and stability results in a large number of shoulder problems not faced by other joints such as the hip. We use the most minimally invasive techniques to treat shoulder injuries and problems.

Some of the shoulder issues we treat are:

  • Rotator cuff tears
  • Impingement syndrome
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Dislocation

The femur from the top of your leg (thigh area), the tibia from the bottom of your leg (the shin) and the patella in the middle, which forms your knee cap, all come together to form the knee joint. Patients with knee pain are often no longer taking part in the physical activities they once enjoyed such as sports, gardening, bike riding or even walking. We use the most modern approaches to alleviating knee pain including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic procedures, joint replacements including partial and total replacements, injections and physical therapy.

Some of the knee injuries and issues we treat include:

  • Sprains and Strains
  • Meniscal Tears
  • Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) Tears
  • Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Tears
  • Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) Tears

When these bones are out of alignment, so is the rest of your body. And interestingly enough women are four times more likely to have foot problems than men are, mostly due to footwear. Foot and ankle problems can range from sprained ankles and heel pain to complex issues involving the many nerves that are present in the foot. We treat all issues and injuries involving the foot and ankle with the most innovative treatment techniques including surgical options, injections, orthotics and physical therapy.

Some of the foot problems and/or injuries we treat are:

  • Stress fractures
  • Strains and sprains
  • Bunions
  • Hammer toes
  • Neuromas
  • Bone spurs
  • Plantar fasciitis
