Ambassadors

gO AmbassadorsDo you have what it takes?

The gO Ambassador Program is formed to create a mutually beneficial relationship between you and gO. Our athletes are an extension of our family, which we hope to continue to grow well beyond the Gunnison valley. For mountain/road biking, we will be looking for athletes for several different disciplines: cross country, downhill, enduro, road, youth, winter and other ‘adventurers’. The core values that we are looking for include those that:
  • Understand the gO way and mission
  • Are a good representative of gO, both on/off the trails
  • Encourage others to get out there and gOride!
  • Are active and effective on social media
  • Are innovative, creative and motivated in spreading the gO word
  • Know how to have fun
  • Give back
What does this mean?
If you are interested and feel that you could be a good fit for this, we are asking you to officially apply for one of the positions.
What if I don’t get chosen as a gO Ambassador?
We would still love for you to be a part of the gO ‘team’ and will offer competitive pricing on kits for all of you, as we have done in the past. As always, you do not have to be an official gO Ambassador to submit blogs ($25 paid to approved blogs) or help us with coaching opportunities at our camps, gOgirl rides, etc (also paid).
What about kits?
This year we will continue with Cuore (their zippers are better, they claim..!) in addition to Qloom custom gO baggies, downhill jerseys and running tops. True to form we are a bit behind things but should be good to gO by the time the snow melts..
What about travel stipend and podium incentives?
One goal of the new program is to extend our outreach and hopefully be able to support more riders and different disciplines. Although we would love to be able to offer incentives for these, we will be giving different incentives for those who push the limits in other ways.
What about support at races?
Support at races will be determined on an as-needed basis. Nothing official set in stone for this year + moving forward.
Please read this gOAmbassador form and let us know if you have any questions and/or are interested in representing us! Please contact stevie@griggsortho.com.
