I am a native to Colorado, born and raised. My big brother, Kalan, inspired me to buy my first mountain bike only a few years ago. I started racing in 2009 and in 2012 got my Pro license. A few highlights for my first year in the pro field were; 1st Place Overall Women 2012 Pro Women MSC XC Series, 1st Place Alpine Odyssey, 2nd Place Gunnison Growler 32-Miler! I am currently being coached by Alison Dunlap, which I feel is a necessary step in order to achieve the higher level of racing I am striving for. I am serious about getting faster, stronger and more knowledgeable about the sport that has become my passion. I have continual encouragement and support from all of my friends and family. Bring on 2013!

Favorite Pre-race/Post-race foods: Usually a banana, bagel, or oatmeal and coffee! Post race, anything. This year my coach recommends that I drink a recovery drink within 30 minutes of finish.

Bike of Choice: 650b carbon hardtail, can’t wait!

Race of Choice: Any with long, steep climbs and flowing descents

Favorite Doctor: Doctor’s Park and Dr. Griggs

Favorite Mexican Dish:  Cheese enchilada, bean tostada with rice and beans

What has cycling meant to me?  Cycling is a release for me.  I just love getting out to unwind. It makes me a happier person. Never do I finish a ride and wish I didn’t. No regrets. It’s a healthy life style that I love to do.

What has Dr. Griggs taught me over the years, to become a better rider? Dr. Griggs is one of the most generous people I have ever met.  Anything you need, he will be there to help.  It’s really an honor to be on this team and I feel privileged to have his name on my back.  Riding for GO means to be honest, ride with integrity and respect, train hard and always have fun!

Favorite role model and why? My mom!  She is always there for me…good and bad, thick and thin. Best mom in the whole world.

Favorite bird to hunt and why? Hummingbird. Fast and beautiful!
